After finally setting down and getting my DK to 80, I’ve started running all the Dungeons that I skipped in the past. I’m doing them in order of difficulty, starting with Eastern Kingdoms. This is all to get me ready to start gearing for End Game play. Eventually, I’d like to run those High-Level instances that currently, I would get absolutely smashed in. Maybe I should focus on making this a levelling guild…
I haven’t been on in quite a while. I probably won’t for a while more. My main PC is currently unable to connect to the internet. Or power on for that matter. I’m doing my best to repair it, but I may just need to replace it…
I do have a small netbook to do online tasks, but it is unsuited to play WoW. I will be able to respond if anyone needs me, but nothing to do with the game can be done.
I’d like to say sorry to Itsu and Healbear.
Yesterday, we were trying to run BFD. We hadn’t gotten very far inside when I had to leave. I don’t like to run out on things like that but sometimes it’s necessary.
I do apologize and I hope we can all get together and run something in the future.
Now we’re up and running.
Our founders are -
Grimboz the Death Knight
Healbear the Paladin
Herwamenl the Paladin
Itsu the Warrior
Jokurandomi the Paladin
Kilchu the Paladin
Numpty the Mage
Soulriper the Warrior
Vintergale the Rogue
I’d like to thank everyone who signed the charter to get us off the ground. You are our founders, and will be very important members of the guild in the future. If you feel up to it, recruit your friends or any other players that you think would be beneficial to the guild.
I just want to start out with one basic rule. If you invite someone, they need to be able to communicate with all other members of the guild. A little English is all that I request, I just don’t know any other languages. Don’t think that I’m not asking you to invite people from around the world, I’d just like to be able to talk with them!
Over the next few days I’ll be working hard to get together little rewards to send off to each of you founders. I’ll also begin planning out some instance runs and what I’d like to see each member doing in game. For now, just keep playing, having fun, and leveling up.
I’m going to try and keep at least 1000 gold in the guild vault at all times. Members will be given a chance to use this to repair their gear or buy new equipment/materials. I’ll also try to stock up on restorative items and some basic weapons and armor. Let me know what you need and I’ll see how I can get it for you.
Now, please leave a comment telling us a little bit about yourself. Your style of play, other games you like, where you are in the world, things like that.
The real work will start soon, so try and recruit as many players as you can.
I want to be perfectly honest. I’ve never run a guild before and I usually play solo. But, I realize that this game is not meant to be played by yourself, and I want to start up a (hopefully) successful guild in order to make a few in-game friends.
In the two MMO’s I play regularly, I am always an out of the way miner. I used to play EvE, but I stopped that a few months back. A friend of mine got me into WoW a few years ago, bought me a few months, and then I stopped playing because I didn’t want to pay for it anymore. I wasn’t playing enough. But then I discovered Molten. I started my first character, played for a while, then decided to donate and become a permanent member. Now I’m on my second character, a human Death Knight I’ve named Grimboz. I’m nowhere near an expert on the game, but I’m good enough to have fun with it.
Fun. That’s what I want this guild to be about. No drama, no stress, just relaxing and playing with friends. We all know how the economy is on our server, it’s quite easy to make a lot of money quickly. Somebody is going to need the materials or equipment we get, so we should provide it cheaply and in bulk. I do enjoy running instances on occasion, so I do want people who are interested in that aspect of the game as well. We will not be doing high-level for quite a while as a guild.
Now we come to the rewards section. I have plans to have a rewards system set up for the players that are the most beneficial to the game and guild. Real rewards, that will be mailed to your home (or office, or wherever you want to get it). I have a few ideas of what I can send out, small trinkets, treats, maybe gift cards in the future. I’m open to suggestion. I am planning a barbecue for the summer at my home, anyone around North-West Florida?
Right now I’m centering operations in and around the Stormwind area. It’s a nice place to get a feel for mining and the game in general if you are new. If you’re experienced, please continue to do what you’re doing where you are. The first instance I’m planning on doing a run on will be Deadmines. It’s short, simple, and easy. I haven’t set a date and would like to have at least 5 people to do it.
I’m in the US Central time zone, GMT -5 currently. When I’m online varies, but if I get people in the guild I’ll set up a schedule that I’m online. I work and have a new baby, and they always take priority.
If you have any questions or comments, please let me know. I’ll try to respond as quickly as possible.
